2006 "Always" Petite, Petite SirahBEST OF CLASS/GOLD MEDAL - 2009 Los Angeles International Wine Competition. There's nothing petite about this sirah! Has overtones of intense inky-black fruit with tremendous berry flavors that greet the palate with raspberries, blackberries and a bouquet of dark chocolate and spice. The nose rounds out with complex subtle floral aromas filling the edges with a hint of spice. The long savory velvet finish travels across the mid palate with a huge, intense plump mouth.
