Loma Linda Vineyards Update!

In 2008 we produced 1,000 cases of Petite Sirah, Petite Rosé and Zinfandel. The harvest in October went extremely well and the fruit looks very promising to make exceptionally good wine!  Our wine is now in barrels and has begun its two year journey to become award-winning wine.

On March 31, 2009 our 2008 "Always" Rosé, Petite Rosé was bottled and is now released for purchase.  Get your orders in early as only 160 cases were produced!  This delightful Rose' brought home a Gold Medal in it's first wine competition in Orange County, CA at the Pacific Rim International Wine Competition!

On July 3, 2009 we bottled our 2007 "Always" Zin, Zinfandel. This classic jammy Zinfandel is an exceptional wine with only 179 cases produced.  As “Always” our Petite Sirah continues to be AMAZING and has won several medals this year, including Best of Class and a Gold Medal at the 2009 Los Angeles International Wine Competition!

This year we completed the restoration of the original Loma Linda ranch house, which is located across the street from our house.  This historic 2,000 sq. ft. home has 3+ bedrooms, 2 baths, completely remodeled kitchen and gorgeous landscaping.  The ranch house was built circa 1950.  At that time the entire ranch  was 1,600 acres and it wasn’t until the early 1990's that it was sold and divided into 10 +/- acre parcels. The Casa del Loma Linda is situated on 20 acres of vineyards. The final phase of vineyard planting will be in the spring of 2011.

Casa del Loma Linda is booked each weekend until August 2010, but we are currently taking reservations for Summer  2010.  This vineyard retreat is the perfect place to unwind after a long day of winetasting and exploring our beautiful wine country! For pictures, check the photo gallery.
